moving, painting and ‘deadleg’ syndrome
It’s been a bit of a whirlwind the past few days. Spent Saturday cleaning up my bedroom at my mom’s house, digging through my teenage years all stored in boxes. The pack-rat in me saved quite a bit of stuff that will be moved to storage.
Spent all day Sunday painting with the man. I’m so sore I can’t even tell you. And, as a bonus, I got home after 10 hours of painting only to discover my outer left thigh is numb. Still is as a matter of fact, 2 days later. Went to the Dr. yesterday and she told me it’s a pinched nerve that should resolve itself in a week, but still, it’s a very weird sensation. Kind of like the way your face feels when the dentist freezes it.
And speaking of the Dr., I filled her in on my non-ovulation situation and she booked me in for a complete physical next week Tuesday at the crack of dawn (7am – that’s going to be rough). I was originally scheduled for my ladyparts exam in the first week of March and she asked me if I wanted to wait until then, but I told her I’d rather get started on whatever needs to be done sooner rather than later. At 33 I’m no spring chicken. Don’t want to waste any more time than I have to. So on Tuesday next week she’ll do the standard ladyparts exam and then draw blood and run whatever other tests she needs to run so that she can refer me to a specialist (Yay!). She mentioned that I’d probably be put on Clomid which is what I figured. It will hopefully get me ovulating again.
If I weren’t so tired from cleaning/painting/packing/moving and my ‘deadleg’ as I’ve dubbed it, I’d be peeing myself with excitement.
