They are so good at this stuff, ( specialists) think they'd have a crystal ball or something. Puts me in mind of the time my hubby chased thugs ( baby hoodlums) off our property with a very large truck after being stalked many times over. Well the group of them lied and said he rammed them several times. The only damage on either vehible were scratches on our truck from chained link fence from several years earlier. He was facing 7 years in prison so we hired an expensive attorney who did nothing really. Finally I was able to secure insurance photos from the truck because it was a commerical vehicle which proved the facts. They finally agreed to give him a polygraph and they DROPPED most of the charges. Got him for misdemeanor criminal michievous to cover they're own butts! Overall THAT cost us about $10,000. And it was my leg work that got him cleared. Strange simily I know BUTTTTTTTTT.
