MRI – locked and loaded

So my impatience won out.  I bit the bullet and called the gynedoc’s office to see if the MRI had been scheduled.  Of course as soon as angryofficemanager lady heard my name she was all like “oh I have an MRI scheduled for you”.  Probably had it scheduled since the day I was last there, not like I’m anxiously waiting for her to call me with the details or anything, but whatever.

Anyways my MRI has been scheduled for July 2nd at 10:30 am.  I’m thinking I might take the day or morning off work since it’s likely that this could take an hour or more to get done and I can’t sneak away from work for that long without it being noticed.

Also, since I work at the hospital where my MRI is scheduled I think I’ll take a walk on over there one day soon and see if I can be put on the call list if there is a cancellation.  Then I could get in sooner.  That would be good.

In other news angryofficemanagerlady said that she called the fertility clinic not long after my appointment 2 weeks ago, but it could take weeks or months for them to contact me regarding my appointment with them, which could then be weeks or months after that.

I swear, if I were an alcoholic, crack addicted chain smoker on welfare I’d have 10 kids +1 on the way, and Jerry Springer’s home phone number in my fave5.  Instead I’m a university and college educated, well adjusted and contributing, taxpaying member of society and I’m no closer to being pregnant right now than I was when I was on the pill. (At least I’m saving money on smokes, crack pipes and condoms.)

No justice in this world I tell you.
