the wait continues…39w3d

So not much going on round here.  Baby’s still comfortable with his/her current accommodations so…yeah.  Baby’s in charge here.  I got nothin but time on my hands.  Waiting.  Not that it’s a bad thing.  It’s like being on vacation from work, except I can’t do anything or even really leave the house to run errands cause hubby’s got the car and it’s too hot out to walk far and we live too far from anything for me to get there on foot in my current condition anyways.

My mom’s home during the week, but since she’s mostly crazy and self absorbed I try to stay out of her way.  If we don’t speak to each other we don’t fight.  Everything that comes out of her mouth, even though it’s with love, she has a bad habit of making everything about her.  Hubby reminded her the other day that she still has to have the car seat base installed in her car and her big defense was “but what for?  It’s not like you’re ever going to let me go anywhere with the baby.”  Classic woe is me.  She’s real good at that.  And when I explained to her that she needs the base installed so that if we all go somewhere together with the baby, like to visit family or to the Dr’s office, she’ll need the car seat since we can’t go anywhere without it her response was “but you’re never going to let me go anywhere alone with the baby so what’s the point?”  What?!?!  What’s wrong with your brain that you can twist things around like that?!?  I wish I could say that to her, but if I did she’d hold it against me for the rest of her life. *sigh*

But I digress, this post isn’t supposed to be about my crazy mother.

It’s supposed to be about me and how I’m thisclose to being bored since I’m sitting at home with nothing to do but wonder if the next BH contraction will be the start of something more interesting, or if I should just go for another nap.

Nope.

Is 8:30am too early for a nap?
